Horse Called Paint Riding Cape with Full Sheepskin Trim
Where art meets movement, in wool and fur.
This Riding Cape is cut from an authentic Pendleton® blanket featuring Judd Thompson’s “Horse Called Paint”—a striking silhouette of a dark horse galloping across a snowy night scene. Only three designers in the world are authorized by Pendleton® to transform their iconic full blankets into wearable art, and we are one of them. This isn't inspired by history—it’s already woven into it.
Hooded, fully reversible, and trimmed with sumptuous sheepskin, this cloak merges fine artistry with frontier functionality. One side carries the dreamlike White/Grey equine scene; the reverse flips into a dramatic photo-negative silhouette. It drapes with cinematic movement—whether belted for riding or worn open for impact.
Built by hand in Wyoming, this piece reflects both the rugged spirit of the West and refined, gallery-worthy design—an heirloom cloak meant to last generations.
