Land of the Buffalo Riding Poncho with Full Leather Trim
“Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam…”
The Land of the Buffalo Riding Poncho is built from authentic Pendleton® wool fabric, inspired by the herds that still roam Yellowstone National Park. Wyoming is home to the largest free-ranging bison herd in the United States, and this pattern captures their power, presence, and place in the American West.
Hooded, fully reversible, and finished with full U.S.-tanned leather trim, this poncho is rugged, weather-ready, and heirloom grade. Each one includes a natural antler toggle, cut by hand from Wyoming shed. With two distinct colorways — a lighter side and a darker side — you get two ponchos in one.
This isn’t fashion. It’s gear. Made for the saddle, the sideways wind, and the kind of cold only the high plains deliver. It’s also at home in the city, carrying the strength and freedom of the West wherever you take it.
