Trusted in the Saddle. Worn Around the World.
This is the original Los Ojos Riding Poncho — the one worn by NFL legends, ranch hands, artists, and mothers-to-be. Not a costume. Not a copy. Only three artists worldwide have ever been granted the right to transform Pendleton® iconic weavings into new, functional forms. We’re honored to be one.
This is a true Western riding poncho, built from the Pendleton® Los Ojos blanket and finished with rugged U.S.-tanned leather and a hand-cut toggle made from naturally shed antler collect here in Wyoming.
What Makes It Different:
-
Authentic Pendleton® blanket wool — not retail yardage or reproduction prints
-
Jen is one of only 3 artists worldwide authorized by Pendleton® to transform their blankets into wearable designs
-
Fully reversible — dramatic contrast: black-on-ivory or ivory-on-black
-
Antler toggle closure — included standard, hand cut from natural shed
-
Hooded and side-split for movement, layering, and riding
-
U.S.-tanned leather trim — built for generations of wear
-
Unisex and maternity-friendly — drapes beautifully on all bodies
-
Made from 100% U.S.-sourced materials — cut and built by hand
Rooted in History. Designed for Movement.
The Los Ojos pattern includes Navajo “eyes,” Spanish crosses, and symbols of the Four Sacred Mountains — a woven tribute to land, ancestry, and the guardianship of future generations.
This is more than warmth. It’s a symbolic passage —
A piece that carries stories.
A piece meant to last a lifetime — or two.
