Riding Cape in Pendleton's Canyonlands, Champagne Eco-tanned Sheepskin and wine Leather Trim, Deer Antler Toggle.
Each Riding Cape is individually hand crafted and a unique creation. They are reversible for 2 different looks. A Western twist on the old Victorian style of Riding Capes, these pieces can be worn down or one side thrown over the shoulder as a wrap. Apres-ski to big city shopping, they are a standout in even the largest crowd.
This piece is created from one of Pendleton newest lines of Blanket and is napped on one side unnapped on the other. This technique makes this Riding Cape soft and plush yet still retains the crispness of the pattern. The description from Pendleton is as follows: "A dazzling rendition of our Canyonlands pattern, specially crafted and richly colored to evoke a vintage blanket. One side is napped for softness and warmth; the reverse is unnapped, to showcase the design’s intricate jacquard. Hand-cut rounded corners recall the shape of heirloom blankets from the earliest days of our Oregon mill." The Champaign Sheepskin has just a touch of pink to add to the blush hue of the fabric. This is truly and exquisite Cape.
We make our Riding Capes from authentic Pendleton Wool. This all natural jacquard fabric is naturally breathable and will acclimatize from outdoors to indoors, keeping you comfortable, without having to move layers.
