Smith Rock
Smith Rock draws from the ancient language of grounded pathways, balance, and the natural rhythm of landforms. The stepped diamond structures reflect elevation and journey — rising from foundation to summit — while stacked triangular motifs carry the meaning of provision, harvest, and the seasonal turning of cycles. Each geometric interval represents both order and movement, mirroring the alignment between rider, land, and sky across generations of woven tradition.
In this colorway, warm ivory serves as a neutral ground for layered bands of midnight blue, sandstone, iron grey, wheat gold, and flame red. The palette echoes stone faces, canyon light, and sun-baked earth, with each detail woven into disciplined harmony by Pendleton’s master weavers.
Woven as a true jacquard, this fabric presents two distinct color variations on opposing sides, allowing you to select the expression that best suits your vision.
Color Pairing Suggestions
Smith Rock complements palominos, buckskins, duns, sorrels, bays, liver chestnuts, and grullos. Its grounded palette also pairs beautifully with Leopard Appaloosas, Paints (Tobiano, Overo, Tovero), Varnish Roans, Snowflakes, and select Sabinos. Pairs well with natural oil, chocolate, black, dark oil, and silver-accented tack finishes.
