Trailhead Turquoise is deep water and thin air. Navy carries the field — dense, saturated, the color of shadow on snow at elevation — with teal and seafoam banding through it and ivory cutting every edge sharp. A single line of coral-red runs the center like a trail marker. Turquoise is the accent, not the ground, and it works harder for being used sparingly.
The geometry is mountains, plainly. Serrated triangles in heather denim rise and invert across the whole field, edged in ivory and trimmed with stepped hooks and frets — the crook motif that runs through Southwest weaving as a device for keeping a line in motion. Between the peaks, stacked triangle clusters climb in ivory and coral. Ranges, weather, and altitude, laid out in bands.
Cold. Graphic. Not a quiet pattern.
The palette is layered blue with warm punctuation: deep indigo and navy, heather denim, teal, seafoam, and slate, all cut with bone ivory, then coral-orange and rust threaded through to keep it from going flat. High contrast, tight edges, no soft transitions.
Woven as a true jacquard, this fabric presents two distinct color expressions on opposing sides — one with sharper contrast and clarity, the other muted with a more blended, tonal depth. Same pattern. Different attitude.
Coat Colors:
This is the fabric for a golden horse. On palominos and buckskins the navy against the coat is the sharpest color contrast in the whole line, and the coral picks up the mane and points. Sorrels and chestnuts do the same thing warmer, with the rust and coral running straight into the coat. On blues and grays it goes tonal and cohesive — the fabric and the horse belong to the same weather. On blacks and dark bays the ivory does all the lifting and the piece reads as pure graphic contrast.
Saddle & Tack Leather:
Dark oiled brown and black are the strongest match and let the ivory carry. Chestnut and harness leather warm it considerably and pull the coral forward, which is the friendlier version of this fabric. Silver, nickel, and stainless hardware follow the blue and keep it clean. Brass fights it — use it only if you're deliberately chasing the coral instead. Turquoise stone is the natural accent and it's what the name promises.
