Leather is great, its been used for over 2000 years... we just thought after 2000 years, straps goods needed a wee bit of an update. Made from genuine Biothane performance PVC and TPU, it is one of the only materials specifically engineered for equine sport. Mud, dirt, grass and sweat rinse off in seconds. It's UV resistant coatings, resist fading, odor and mildew. Bright colors not only look cool, they pop photos and aid in visibility in low light conditions and traffic. Biothane is lighter, stronger, thinner than leather and unlike nylon will still break ensuring safety should a strap get hung up....a broken strap is always better than a broken horse. Traditions are great, just not stretched out, cracked, hard, pain in the arse to clean traditions that leave one leg longer than the other in 6 months :-)
