Jen X Equine Endurance saddle pad designs are used by Team U.S.A. and Canadian on the world's toughest courses. If it's your first LD or your first 100.... we literally have your back. The sport of Endurance is an extreme sport, the equipment designed for it need to be just as extreme. Ultra light, ultra breathable, ultra washable, have ultra impact control. A saddle pad designed for endurance must be ultra E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. No other sport is a saddle pad more critical. It has to adjust for terrain, heat, cold, altitude and water intake and loss all in one day.... things a typical saddle pad is exposed to over a year. Saddle fit correction is critical... its common for 100 mile horse to lose 50lbs over a course. Each horse/rider/equipment combo is completely unique... and just when you think you have it all dialed in... something changes and your quest for the equipment holy grail continues on down the trail. The XP Endurance Collection is the latest generation of Jen's endurance pad designs.
Unlike earlier iterations of Jen's work as a contract designer for Fleeceworks (2008) or Toklat, Matrix(2011), T3 Coolback(2012), and T3 Woolback (2012), her new XP Endurance Pads use the latest technical advances in textiles and polymers. Material technology is no different than other technologies... it advances constantly. Think iPhones...imagine an iPhone from 2008 compared to your current phone. Not you with the flip phone (we all know one ;-) Jen is always researching, updating and developing new designs and materials and a part of every sale goes towards continued advancements in research and developments to create better, safer equipment for our horses and our horses of tomorrow.
Applied science and technology is never more critical than in an Endurance pad. We have thought of everything so you don't have to, at least about your saddle pad. We think of Endurance equipment the same way you do ... horse first.
